About Dr Mughal
Dr Assad Mughal undertook his undergraduate training from the Charles University in Prague. He then underwent specialist training in trauma and orthopedic surgery in Cape Town South Africa where he completed both his masters of medicine in orthopedic surgery at The University of Cape Town, as well as his fellowship of the College Orthopedic Surgeons of South Africa.
Dr Assad Mughal has had extensive training and experience in adult pediatric trauma, pediatric orthopedics, shoulder and elbow surgery, foot and ankle surgery, hand surgery, hip and knee arthroscopy, sports medicine, tumor and reconstruction surgery as well as spine surgery.
Dr Assad Mughal is also published in the field of orthopedic surgery and regularly attends international congresses and workshops to keep up to date with the most current concepts and treatments in orthopedic surgery.
Outside work he enjoys the outdoors, motorsports and is an avid photographer.
